There are no French food names starting with W, but there are imported foreign names used in French, such as the Waldorf salad, the Wapiti deer from Canada, the Washington garnish, the Waterfish sauce, the Waterzoï Flemish stew with fish and vegetable or its Belgian version with chicken, the Welsh rarebit, Whisky (if that's a food) and the Worcester sauce.
