Where is the obd port in a 2007 Jeep Compass?

In a 2007 Jeep Compass, the OBD-II port is located under the driver's side dashboard. Specifically, it can be found near the steering column, just above the brake pedal. You may need to kneel down or use a flashlight to see it clearly, as it is positioned towards the back of the dash area.
