How can I safely and effectively remove water from my cat's ear?

How did the water get into your cat's ear? If it's just run through the rain, I wouldn't do anything. Cats can cope with that on their own. But if it has fallen into a pond, for example, I would try to remove the water with a dry towel. If this doesn't help and your cat still has symptoms, please take her to the vet.
