Can you legally own a zebra in the US?

In some states it is legal. The answer previously given is incorrect. There are many states that do allow you do own a zebra. Keep in mind they are wild animals and can be unpredictable. They are very different from horses they are harder to train, they are much stronger, and they will bite. Do your homework and make sure you are ready before you buy a zebra.
