Selfishly? Because if you have a nasty side effect from other drug interactions, who were you going to sue to have your hospital bills covered. Seriously? Because some medications are dosed specifically to a person's weight. Some doses are age specific. Some medications interact badly with others and even with some vitamins or natural supplements.
