When was the car discovered?

The car wasn't really discovered. The first car built was an American car from the car manufacturer Ford! Henry Ford built it but I have no more information about the first car but that is all I know and it is true....Watch the history channel.

Wrong! The "car" or "automobile" was patented by Gottlieb Benz on 29 January 1886 #DRP 37345 for a "gas powered vehicle". It was sold as the "Benz Patent Motorwagen". Henry Ford didn't even venture in the motor driven vehicle industry until 4 June 1896 when he cobbled together his "Quadricycle". Prior to the American industry being estalblished there were many motor driven vehicles in Europe.
