Live people require sleep so that their bodies are able to regenerate and rest. Spirits do not have bodies... therefore, sleep is no longer required. Dreaming in death becomes more realistic because everything that you are, do, and create is done with thought alone. So, in death... dreams can become reality.

Assuming that "ghosts" are spirits of persons who have died, there is no reliable answer to the question. As explained by the answer above, sleep would not be necessary to a "ghost" without physical being. Whether or not ghosts dream, or whether their "dreams can become reality" is impossible to say unless one has a verifiable means of communicating with ghosts and confirming their existence and experience. At the present, the only evidence we have of any post-death existence comes via religious testimony and ancient Scriptures, neither of which are scientifically verifiable.
