What was the reason for Germany joining World War 1?

Here are all of the reasons :)

Russia protected Serbia because it is her traditional ally.

So When Russia placed its troops to surround the Austrian borders they were very close to the German borders.

Because Germany was led by a hectic ruler he accused Russia of planning to attack Germany and in addition Germany and Austria are traditional allies and therefore Germany had to step down and protect itself.
