How rapture disk work?

A rupture disk, also known as a burst disk, is a safety device designed to prevent overpressure in a system. It consists of a thin, fragile membrane that ruptures at a predetermined pressure, allowing the contents of the system to escape and thereby preventing potential damage or explosions. When the pressure exceeds the disk's rated limit, the disk fails, creating an opening that quickly relieves excess pressure.
