In what ways are human beings like God?

According to Genesis 1: 26 in the first Book of he Bible, which reads: "Let us make man ( man refers to all humans, both male and female ) in our image, according to our likeness.

It means unlike animals, which act mainly on instinct, we ressemble our Creator in our capacity to display such qualities as love and justice. And like our Creator, we have free will.

So in other Words we were created in God's image with the ability to cultivate and manifest qualities that God possesses, such as love, empathy and justice. That explains why humans can actually imitate God's personlity.

Jehovah God expects mankind to be good stewards of the earth and all living things on it.

The opening two chapters of Genesis give an overview of the creation of the universe, our planet, and life on earth.

Everything Jehovah created is masterful, but humans are his most remarkable earthly creation. When God finished his creative works, he "saw everything he made, and look! it was very good".Read Genesis 1: 31.

God has physical features similar to ours.

facts:

God is a spirit, which means he exists outside the physical realm. Read John 4: 24

Galatians 5: 22,23 describes God's spirit ( God's personality) in these Words. " The fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law, which means, just being and living in God's likeness.
