Did Hitler ask one of his soldiers to kill him?

This is a tricky question. Maybe he asked Gunther, maybe he did not. Anyways, he is believed to have shot himself, possibly right after having taken cyanide. No evidence from a bullet was found in his cranium though, maybe he missed that altogether. We will never know the real truth behind it, since, upon orders by himself, he was burned in gasoline. After the burning, his body, together with that of Eva Hitler, was packed into a crate using a wooden club. The crate was then buried in the back garden of the 'Reichskanslerei'. (Treasury Office.)
