How long does it take to cook a 5.5 pound chicken at 400 degrees?

it depends...are you baking or deep frying...we have deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving and it is typically cooked at 3 minutes per pound at a constant 400 degrees in the deep fryer...not sure about cooking in the oven though...hope that helped
