Why don't apartments recycle?

There are a few reasons apartments don't recycle. Sometimes it is for lack of space to collect recyclable materials separate from the trash. Most often it is because collection of recyclable materials is an added expense and owners of the apartments save money by just having the residents throw their recycling away. Apartment recycling programs are beginning to emerge and creative collection programs are bringing the cost down.
