Dealers charge a transfer fee for this service. The transfer fee will run from $25 to $100 depending on the dealer. Before you order a handgun on the internet, check with your dealer to be sure they will accept it. A few dealers won't accept transfers, and some dealers won't accept transfers if they normally stock the same gun.
