Macroevolution is just lots of small steps of microevolution. With many small steps a species can change so much it cannot breed with its unchanged former kin, and then it's considered a new species.

If microevolution is considered seconds, macroevolution is minutes or hours. Acknowledging one exists is recognizing the other, too. ^^
