Will there be a sequel to Call of Duty Black Ops?

Yes they have made too much already on Call of Duty Black Ops. They will release Map Packs for the game and Call of Duty will have a sequel to the Call of Duty Black Ops because it has made record sales. The sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be released first most likely under the title Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and it will be released to even higher record breaking sales late in 2011. With the tremendous number of game sales the profit per game increases and companies like Amazon.com can offer to sell Call of Duty Black Ops for $20 under full retail only 6 or 7 weeks after the release. That means they can expect similar high profits for everyone with the sequel to Call of Duty Black Ops and also for the release of the next game in the call of Duty series Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

It turned out that the MW3 broke records for sales with a First week total of over 12 million units. My answer above which was written in December 2010 did not mean to imply that the title of the next Treyarch game scheduled to release in November 2012 would be Black Ops 2. It will not be even though it can be considered a sequel. Treyarch has not announced the next games title, but it will undoubtedly continue to include the highly successful zombie mode.
