How were the twin towers bombed?

It was more of an attack than a "bombing". Two terrorists under Osama bin Laden's control took over a US plane and did a suicide "attack" upon the twin towers. Why did they do it? It was an act of terrorism. Terrorism and terrorist's due their duties for their country, which is to try and strike fear to our government and change our country forever.
