How do you talk your parents into letting you get a dog?

be kind ask them for one . if they say no write a letter to say why you want one. or be bad and get the adress off the pound your getting it from and send a letter saying:

Dear mr/mrs/miss,

i would like to get a dog from you i have a big garden and i will give it lots of care. i live at 88 road * * and give your adress.
