Which animal adaptation would you expect to find in a desert biome?

In a desert biome, one common adaptation is the ability to conserve water. Many animals, such as the kangaroo rat, have highly efficient kidneys that allow them to extract moisture from their food and produce very concentrated urine. Additionally, some desert animals exhibit nocturnal behavior, remaining active at night when temperatures are cooler, to avoid the heat of the day. Other adaptations include specialized body coverings, like sand-colored fur or scales, that help with camouflage and reflect sunlight.
