Why Golgi bodies is called the traffic police of the cell?

It refines proteins that have been manufactured by the ribosomes, and sorts the proteins and prepares them for transportion to other parts of the cell or to the cell membrane for secrection, and works hand in hand with the ER in protein movement and processing.
