Why do people act like the are older when they are not?

This is a tough question, because, remember, all people are very different. Here's a few reasons that I've come up with: 1. They may be trying to impress someone.

2. They may think it makes them seem "cool."

3. If they look older, they may do it to try to do stuff they're not supposed to do yet.

4. They may have seen someone else do it, so they do.

5. They may think it makes them seem more attractive to the opposite gender.
