Why did Hitler hate Britain so much?

There is no evidence that he did. Many senior Nazis admired the British empire, how such a small country could control so much land and so many people. Hitler certainly saw Britain and France as Germanys rivals but he hated the communists and wanted to destroy the USSR. The Germans never made a serious attempt to invade Britain and in the end it was to their strategic cost, it lost them the war.
