What is the best way to store a canoe outside?

its best to just leave it upside down, funny enough it wont be affected by the rain water! although it is prob best to cover it as the suns UV rays can afffect the plastic. its also best to make sure its be completely washed with clean water before storing, if its been in the sea then the salt can quickly corrode the metal clips and screqs etc.
