How many people were injured and died in Mount Pelee Martinique?

The 1902 eruption of Mount Pelée in Martinique resulted in the destruction of the town of Saint-Pierre and caused the deaths of approximately 30,000 people, making it one of the deadliest volcanic eruptions of the 20th century.
