How can you test the speakers on your computer?

Plug the mic into the pink 3.5mm socket.

You can check the operation by opening the 'sound recorder' in Windows.

This is found under 'all programs' 'accessories' 'Entertainment'.

Skype

Click on the record button and speak checking the wave form oscilloscope.

If no sound is recorded check the settings of your sound card to make sure the mic has not been muted.

Once set up, other programs can access the mic, such as 'Skype' and video conference.
