Can really cheap and value minded people eat at a soup kitchen or do you actually need to be poor or homeless?

It would be really unethical to eat at a soup kitchen if you are not poor or homeless but just want to save money since soup kitchens are usually starved for funds and there are many poor people who really need to food given to them by soup kitchens.
