Do you get paid for delivering meals on wheels?

No all the meals are delivered by volunteer drivers. In some areas the drivers are given a token sum of money for the petrol they have used. It all depends on the sponsors for the area that your local meals on wheels is in. In my area we are lucky and get a small amount of money to help cover the fuel we use. In some countries this not always the case, so they still do the deliveries out of their own pocket.
