Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir is the Prime Minister of Iceland. She became the Prime Minister of Iceland on 2009 February 1. She is the world's first openly gay head of government, and was also listed by Forbes as one of the 100 most powerful women in the world. Her government has banned both prostitution and strip clubs in Iceland, moving towards treating women as humans as opposed to commodities.
