How do you sign up for a PS3 online network?

Simply you need an internet connection and a valid email address.

After you boot you PS3 up, go into the PlayStation Network menu and hit "Sign up for PlayStation Network"

From there you simply put in your Date of Birth, Email address, Desired User-name and Address.

There also is a optional survey to fill in.
