What are Demeters powers?

To control crops and harvest and to grow plants.

--The Greek gods didn't have powers; they weren't superheroes. Demeter was goddess of agriculture and fertility of the Earth. But she, like all the gods, could basically do whatever they wanted. They were practically omnipotent and immortal. They just tended to favor some activities over others.
