How do you get Kindle books?

You add ebooks not bought from Amazon to your Kindle by downloading the books to your PC and then connecting the Kindle to the PC using its USB port. The Kindle will appear in your computer's folder structure just like a USB stick. You then copy the books from your computer to the Kindle.
