Can you put orange antifreeze in a 2002 VW Beetle?

It's possible...my 2002 Saturn Vue takes orange antifreeze (Dex-Cool). To be sure, check your owner's manual.

I have a 2002 Jetta that uses the orange stuff and they told me when I bought it that I had to use that kind. I don't know why the Beetles would be any different. Whether you "have" to or not I don't know, but I always have.

NO! your new beetle uses G12 it is purple and it mixes half and half with distilled water.
