What are dachshunds personality like?

My son and I have three Dachshunds. They are very, very loveable and all of ours really enjoy children.

Dachshunds are a lot of fun, each being very unique. They are usually very affectionate, loyal, and intresting. They are especially bubbly as puppies (and most times as adults). They may be a bit nervous though, around other dogs, people, or something unfamiliar to them, though not all dachshunds are this way. Many people I've met say that dachshunds are the best kind of dogs you can get, along with myself.
