It’s not uncommon for people with hypothyroidism to experience symptoms like fatigue, swelling, and discomfort in their limbs, especially if they are not taking their prescribed medication. The symptoms you describe, such as feeling hot and having difficulty sleeping, could also relate to imbalances in thyroid hormone levels. It's important to consult with your healthcare provider to discuss these symptoms and determine the best course of action, which may include resuming your medication.
