Are you sure BOTH have failed? Unless the vehicle has been under water, there is very littlepossibility EITHER has failed. These are very heavy duty items and are sealed, so unlessthey have leaked all the lubricant (been hot) or the car has otherwise sustained catastrophic damage,failure is unlikely.Check your tires. Several tire designs cause audible symptoms of bearing failure, in particulartires with hard or aged rubber compounds. Check for scalloped or bevel worn tread...that could be your "noise".
