How do you tie dye canvas?

Grab shirt where you wish the pinwheel to start. Pinch and pull the rest of the shirt down so it hangs twist shirt in direction you wish pinwheel to flow when it is tight to your desire rubbe rband it in sections of how many colors you wish like this

=|===|==|======|== Then pick the colors for each section. in this case 5

^top ^bottom(usually the neck and hem of shirt and arms)

If you want bigger white spots don't use a color in certain section. so 4 colors or 3 colors instead. depending on your shirt.

Dye each section then wring them dry. after it is drip free i believe you can take the rubber bands off. But I'd try a tester shirt first and test how it turns out, if it doesn't work that way leave rubber bands till dry then open.
