To ask a girl about sexual intercourse you should consider these factors

1) Make sure you know the girl well and that she knows you well (and it would help of you were in a commited relationship).

2) Talk to her and find out what she thinks about you or the relationship you both share. She might be having doubts or may not be fully commited to you (in her mind).

3) Then based on her answer gradually bring up the topic of intercourse and see how she reacts to it. Her body language, her Words. Is she suddenly wide eyed? If so then laugh to ease the atmosphere and maybe say your kidding. Or, is she shying away or suddenly making encouraging eye contact with you; if so then talk to her about your desire. Talk through things slowly.

4) Lastly make sure to respect her descicion. If she says yes then you should be happy. If she says no then change the subject to help her feel comfortable and sort of give the feel that nothing has changed in the relationship after this conversation.
