What does environment impact mean?

It means the effect of something on the environment eg the farming of cattle causes methane to be released into the atmosphere (from both ends of the cow) which is very bad for the atmosphere. Methane is 60 times worse than carbon dioxide as an agent of global warming. So damage to the atmosphere is the impact on the environment of cattle farming.
