How can you edit a received email before forwarding it to another person?

Editing can done if the email uses an open text format (the text is not locked). In order to edit a message before forwarding, one can use the cut and paste feature. The message text can be cut and pasted on to a note pad or Word processor for editing. Once the editing is complete it can be pasted to the new message being forwarded.
