Why would one of my coil packs not fire on a 3800 motor when the coil pack is good?

The 3800 engine coil packs will fire on #3 and #6 Cyl. at the same time as #2 & 5 and #1 & #4 Cyl. Because it helps burn off fuel not burned after the cyl. fires for emissions. If you get a computer code for missfire on cyl.#1, it can be for cyl. #1 or cyl.#4 check so check your sparks plugs and plugs wires for #1 & #4 Cyl. The 3800 computer will only give you only 3 missfire codes. For cyl. #1, #2 or#3. The ele. circurit needs to go from #1 on the coil pack ,plug wire #1, spark plug#1,engine,from plug#4 to plug wire #4, to coil pack 4 to make a complete circurit. Next to look at is the module under the coil packs.
