How do you get hair gel at the salon on Adventure Quest Worlds?

So you know where the Helm shop is in SWordHaven? Where there is a guy there with a bubble on top of his head talk to him, click quests and beat the quest and he will give you one. But i think its a waist because all the gel does is makes your head a Slime.
