Why do you need mobile phones?

Depends on what phone they're buying. You get discount buyers and brand buyers, just like in supermarkets.

People are buying cheep phones because they need contact people and they have little need for gadgets. Or perhaps its as simple as they cant afford to buy a smartphone.

People buy expensive phones for a couple of reasons.

-It may be that this phone offers something that another doesn't.

-Its a social and life status symbol. They feel the need to be seen in a particular way.Even though know one really cares.

-Some people just want the "best." whatever the best is really depends on the buyer.

-Being part of a group helps people understand who they are. So they choose a phone that everyone else have. Its called social proof.
