Henry Ford enabled the mass production of automobiles which lowered prices of transportation. Also the increased number of roads led many Americans to buy cars. The model T was also very durable, and easy to operate. Ford believed highly in two principles: cutting costs by increasing productivity and paying high wages to his employes. For production he believed the owrk should be brought by a conveyor belt to the worker at waist-high level. This method required 7 years to perfect.
