1) There is a 2,500 (about) year old analog computer sitting in a Athens museum. It was used by the Phonecians likely as a star chart.

2) Leonardo De Vinci was into robots.

3) Fletchly park in England in WWII dealt with that sort of thing,

In WWII people were building circuit boards for aerial bombs. A unique one was built each bomb and code was not re-used. Grace Hopper (eventually ADMIRAL), decided this was seriously dumb and had a big part in creating re-usable code. She played a BIG PART on creating compurer languages for business. THANKS
