How do you change a front headlight bulb on a Kia Amanti?

You have to take the front engine cover off by removing the plastic screw and bushings. Then pull up the metal hold-downs on the rear cover of the headlight. There is a spring-loaded tensioner holding the bulb in. You need to push forward (towards front of vehicle) and slip out from under the bracket. Then you just unplug the bulb and replace. Make sure not to touch the new bulb with bare hands, as the oil will decrease the life span.

These directions will make more sense once you have the rear cover off and can see all the parts.

Of course, everything is easier to say than do!
