Should you pull a 1000 lb boat with your 4 cylinder Pontiac g6?

The towing capacity of your car is 1,000 pounds. If the boat and trailer together way no more than 1,000 pounds you can tow it, but be aware that stopping will be a problem. Allow plenty of room to stop. Do not exceed the 1,000 pound limit. Also do not attempt to pull up a very steep incline as in a boat launch ramp. You are at the maximum limit of this car so extreme caution will have to be observed. If you plan on towing this boat for any long distance I would install a transmission cooler to make sure the transmission does not overheat.
