How did nestlé promote their baby formula to mothers in the 1970's?

They used sales persons dressed as if they were nurses. these so called people convinced new mothers that infant formula was preferable to breast milk.

They also gave free samples of formula to new mothers in hospital so their milk would dry up and they would then have to use formula.
