Why does your Ford ranger 2.5td xlt keep on blowing gasket or is ist the gasket?

Unfortunately, the TD isn't an available option here, so I don't know of common problems with them offhand. Also, you failed to identify which gasket is blowing - there are several. Presumably, one would believe you're referring to the head gasket, which many people mistakenly believe is the only gasket on a motor. Well... what are you symptoms? Is the vehicle overheating? Are you replacing the gasket yourself? If so, are you installing it properly? Are you torquing the bolts down to OEM specs? Have you gauged the head to ensure that it isn't warped?
