Why do animals live in certain places?

So they will live in they envoirment .
Animals, excluding humans, (which are animals by the way), don't just live where they want to, they require a certain habitat that will sustain them. ( certain types of vegetation, water, creeks, rivers) Available food source and breeding requirements play a major role.
