Why riverine environment are very useful?

Riverines are the environment found on the two sides of river. Rivers overflow during rainy seasons and form flood plains. This is associated with rivers. The soil is very rich since silt and other organic sediments collects here. Therefore, in seasons when there is no rain, these areas are used for cultivation.
